Little Gem Boston Baked Beans
Boston Baked BeansPick over 1 quart of pea beans, was thoroughly and soak over night. In the morning boil until the inside skin will crack when blown upon; then place in beans with pot with 1/4 pound of nice pork, fat and lean mixed; add a tablespoon of molasses, a tablespoon of salt, and a teaspoon of mustard. Fill the pot with boiling water, place in oven and bake till done. From time to time add boiling water to keep beans from becoming pasty. B.H.
